"Praise ye the LORD, Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints"  Psalms 149:1

This summer we discovered a new way to see if a village is interested in worshipping and learning about God.  It is by having a Gospel Concert.  Our first Gospel Concert was held in a villaged called Ulyanivka.  We first went to the village to get permission to hold the concert.  Then after we received permission, we went back and passed out tracts and placed posters throughout the village announcing that a Gospel Concert was going to be held at a particular date.  It was a great success.  The people came and didn't want to leave.  They also told us that they wanted us to come back and often.

So, you ask yourself, how can help with this type of ministry?  Here are a few suggestions:

  • gasoline to travel to and from the perspective village
  • ink and poster paper for announcements
  • tracts
  • Ukrainian Bibles
  • snacks

In the future we would like to bring some juice and snacks to fellowship with the village people after the concert.  We also passed out Ukrainian Bibles to whomever wanted.  During the concert a short salvation message was presented.  We are praying that this will be a new tool that will become very effective for us.

If you feel led to help us with this ministry tool, please visit the Ukraine Ministry page of this website to find out how.
